I just took a look. <br /><br />In this case, chapter 2 is less than a page, so the image for chapter 2 never took effect -- by the end of the page, the new image for chapter 3 already took over. <br /><br />The solution is to add a \clearpage at the end of chapter 2, just before the new image declaration for chapter 3. The first chapter is fine, but when I have several chapters, each with a unique image, there will be one in the first chapter then a second one in all of the other chapters.
